Hi gang, it's been a while since I did a top post. Since the recruitment message, I believe.
So, yes, I know it's been a while since our last release, a fact we're probably more aware of than you loyal followers. Believe me, everyone gets a bit antsy seeing our hard work seemingly sit still for months at a time. An unfortunate reality, but it is what it is.
But still, the staff is forging ahead. The episode stats page is up to date - feel free to obsessively check that at your own leisure.
To quickly respond to the individuals out there who have an issue with our pace: It is always our hope to release sooner and with higher quality. However, at the end of the day, we collectively do this only as a hobby. Perhaps others are capable of exhibiting more zeal in their respective pastimes, but that to a large part is inconsequential, as for better or worse, we're not them and they're not us. If this alone doesn't satisfactorily address your complaints, you're welcome to sit there at your table, stewing in contempt at us. Bonus points for shaking your fist in anger at your monitor.
That said, part of the fun of this gig is doing a good job, of which releasing in timely fashion is a component. It's definitely always one of our goals, even if it does sometimes run counter to what's supposed to be a relatively obligation-free commitment.
At any rate, we should be returning to releasing more regularly soon™, and the comments feature will be re-enabled alongside the release of our long awaited Gintama 126. I hope this answers some of the concerns floating around out there.

I love this news post. You should do more of these (and lock the comments system at some moments like this one) when you guys aren't releasing as quickly.

It's been a long while, but glad to see Gintama back on track. Just as long as you don't stop, we won't stop waiting =)

Erm...I don't know what good this will do but here goes. I've been following you guys since episode 20-ish of Gintama, but since your hiatus, I've been getting my Gintama fix at Crunchyroll. Their subs have gotten quite decent actually. I've read through all the -troll- complaints/comments, hell I used to be one of the complainers myself way back then, and I've seen and followed all of the drama. I immensely respect you guys for putting up with all this crap, and putting up with all of it for so freaking long. Speaking as one of your --saner-- fans or follower I will say this: It's hard to wait 2-3 months for a release, I won't do that. But as long as you guys will sub Gintama, I will still download your subs and be forever thankful. You guys are the best and I love the new attitude and approach you've taken to all the troll-douches. XD This post is just a feeble attempt at a small token of thanks from a fellow Gintama fan. Thanks for all the hard work all these years. Keep it up! <3
